  • Zack, thank you for allowing God to use you through the hardship and brokenness of life. This interview is an encouragement to me and a dear reminder that even the seemingly mundane is precious, as is all of life, in the eyes of our dear Lord. May God continue to amaze you daily with His grace as I pray He does for us all. Blessings!

    Hey Zach:

This is Chris Crist. I was talking about you the other day to Paul and telling him that four pastors have influenced and touched my life. You were one of those guys. Thanks for sharing your life and heart with us while you were at Grace. You need to know that Grace is surviving and thriving due, in part, to your teaching us all about Reformed Theology and the wonders of grace.

We now have a wonderful pastor who loves to preach and teach us about Jesus and the God of grace. We look forward as a church to being used in the lives of those that God will bring into our midst and to continue the cycle of teaching the doctrines of Grace into broken and disillusioned lives.

FYI, saw Cami the other day. Now a mom of three and loving and being loved in a wonderful Christ filled and grace filled marriage. She has become such a beautiful wife and mom and woman who loves Jesus with all of her heart and is in awe of what it means for Christ to consistently and faithfully redeem her days. We were both tearing up as we remembered those days when things were not going so well for her. God’s redeeming power to transform and change a life is something else!

Thanks for coming our way so many years ago. It was and will forever be a pleasure and a privilege to have sat under your teaching and preaching even though God had much to teach you while you were here about who you were and more importantly about who He is.

Hope that you are well, thriving and, most importantly, content.
    Love, Chris

I’m a pastor who takes two days off a week. Friday and Saturday, who has resurrected his veggie patch with one of his daughters, who walks his dog every morning and sees all sorts of things around him. Thanks for being an instrument through which Jesus has opened to me the joy of the ordinary and the joy of being ordinary.
